General


Where is your store located?
Suitor operates entirely online, so we don’t have a physical store. Instead, we’ve designed a seamless rental experience from start to finish, all from the comfort of your home. Browse our range online, select your sizes, and have everything delivered directly to your door with next-day delivery across the UK. For added peace of mind, you can include a Backup Suit for just £10, giving you two sizes to try at home and ensuring the perfect fit. Once your event is over, simply pack everything back into the original box, attach the prepaid return label, and drop it off at your nearest location.
Do you deliver UK-wide?
Unfortunately not, but we offer next-day delivery across most of the UK, including England, Scotland and Wales (orders must be placed by 3pm). Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland typically takes 2 business days. Orders placed close to your delivery date may incur an additional shipping fee (£7). Saturday delivery is also available.
Can I get my suit delivered today?
Unfortunately not, but we offer next-day delivery across most of the UK, including England, Scotland and Wales (orders must be placed by 3pm). Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland typically takes 2 business days. Express shipping is £7 for orders placed within 2 business days of delivery, and Saturday delivery is available for £9.95.
How does the Backup Suit work?
Add a Backup Suit for just £10 and we’ll send you a second size of the jacket and trousers in your order. The backup is automatically one size up from your selection, so you can try both at home and choose the best fit for your event. A second size of shirt or waistcoat is not provided. You can wear whichever size is most comfortable, as long as the other suit remains unworn and is returned after your event using the prepaid label provided. Please place the worn suit inside the dry cleaning bag provided before returning.
Do I need to dry clean my rental before returning it?
No, we take care of the dry cleaning. Simply send your rental back and we take care of the rest!
How do I rent from Suitor?
Place your order by choosing one of our suit packages or customising your own look, with availability secured once your booking is confirmed. Your order will be delivered on or just before your selected delivery date, typically 3-5 days before your event. We also next-day deliver UK-wide for those last minute occasions. Enjoy your event and look as good as you feel. Afterward, simply place everything back in the original box, attach the prepaid return label, and drop it off at your nearest drop-off point or post office.
What is the best way to contact Suitor?
At Suitor, we take pride in providing proactive and seamless customer service. You can get in touch with us via email at support@suitor.co.uk, where our team will respond as soon as possible. Our live chat is the fastest way to reach us, with instant responses available between 8am and 5pm on weekdays. If live chat is unavailable, you can leave a support ticket and we’ll aim to get back to you within 24 hours.
What happens if the suit is damaged beyond repair or lost?
We understand accidents happen, which is why we cover minor damage up to £50 that can be repaired. If an item is damaged beyond repair or not returned, an Unreturned Fee will apply. Unreturned fees are as follows: Suit Jacket £150, Trousers £75, Shirt £40, Waistcoat £50, Ties £25, Bow Ties £25, Belt £25.
What happens if my order arrives early or before my delivery date?
If your order arrives before your selected delivery date, there’s no need to worry. We often deliver early to give you extra time to try everything on and make sure it’s perfect for your event. Your rental period still begins from your selected delivery date, and you won’t be charged any additional fees for the extra time.
What material/fabric are your suits/tuxedos made from?
Our suits and tuxedos are crafted from a premium blend of 70% wool and 30% polyester, selected for its quality, structure, and durability. The result is a sharp, tailored fit that’s breathable, comfortable, and maintains a crisp, wrinkle-resistant finish throughout your event. Our velvet jackets are made from high-quality cotton, offering a rich texture and elevated finish for formal occasions.
What material are your shirts made from?
Our shirts are made from a blend of 70% cotton and 30% polyester. This fabric offers the perfect balance of softness, comfort, and durability, ensuring you look sharp and feel at ease throughout your special occasion.
What material are your shoes and belts made from?
Our shoes and belts are made from premium cowhide leather, offering a high-quality and comfortable fit, perfect for all types of events.
What material are your ties and bowties made from?
Our ties, bowties and hankderchiefs are made from high quality satin slik.

Shipping & Delivery


Do you deliver UK-wide?
Yes, we deliver across the entire UK to both residential and business addresses. Orders placed before 3pm arrive the next day. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland takes 2 business days.
Can I get my suit delivered today?
Unfortunately not, but we offer next-day delivery across most of the UK, including England, Scotland and Wales (orders must be placed by 3pm). Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland typically takes 2 business days. Express shipping is £7 for orders placed within 2 business days of delivery, and Saturday delivery is available for £9.95.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping is free on all orders, including delivery to you and return shipping back to us. A £7 express shipping fee applies if you require delivery within 2 business days of placing your order. Saturday delivery is available for £9.95. The fastest available shipping option is automatically applied at checkout to ensure your order arrives by 7pm on your selected delivery date.
When does my rental arrive?
Your rental will arrive on or before your selected delivery date. We recommend selecting a delivery date at least 3 days before your event to allow time to try everything on. If your order arrives early, your rental period still begins from your selected delivery date. We recommend placing your order at least one week before your event. For last-minute events, we offer next-day delivery across most of the UK where necessary.
What happens if my suit doesn't fit or I simply don't like it?
If your suit doesn’t fit, you can request a replacement via suitor.co.uk/order-replacement. We’ll send a different size of jacket, trousers, shirt or waistcoat, with same-day dispatch before 12pm for next-day delivery. If you added a backup suit, your replacement is free. Otherwise, a £10 express shipping fee applies. For minor adjustments, you can have the jacket sleeve length or trouser length hemmed locally, or request a different trouser length if needed. Please ensure your tailor does not cut or remove any fabric. Alterations to the overall fit or styling of the suit are not permitted. Changed your mind? You can return your order for a refund or store credit by notifying us and sending it back within 24 hours of delivery. Your order must be unworn. Refunds are processed minus a £20 fulfilment fee, or choose store credit for the full amount instead.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely, once we have dispatched your order, we will send you a confirmation email with your tracking number. This will come from Royal Mail or another courier provider. If you did not receive a tracking number, please contact us and we will be able to follow up the progress of your order.
Do I have to sign for my order?
No, our courier provider will leave your order in a safe location for collection. It our courier cannot find a suitable location to leave your order, it will be taken to the local post office for collection at your earliest convenience.
Do you offer international shipping?
We currently service Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland). For Australia, please order through our Australian website https://suitor.com.au and NZ, order through https://suitor.co.nz
What happens if my suit doesn't arrive within the delivery timeframe?
Please check your tracking via DPD or Royal Mail for the latest updates on your delivery. If you don’t have your tracking number, feel free to contact us and we’ll follow up on your behalf.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Yes, we deliver on Saturdays for £9.95. Orders must be placed before Friday 3pm, and the fee is automatically applied at checkout when you select a Saturday delivery date.
Do you deliver or dispatch on bank holidays?
No, couriers do not deliver on UK bank holidays. We also do not dispatch orders on these days, as our operations follow the Scottish bank holiday calendar. Bank holidays vary across the UK, so if your local holiday differs from Scotland’s, your order may still be dispatched but delivery could be delayed by 1 day. We recommend selecting delivery for the working day before a bank holiday to avoid delays.

Return


How do I return my order?
Returning your suit is simple. Just pop it back into the original box, stick the prepaid return label over the old one, and drop it off at your nearest Post Office or DPD drop-off point. To find your closest DPD location, go to: https://pickup.dpd.co.uk and enter your postcode.
What happens if my return date is a bank holiday or a Sunday?
No problem at all, just drop your box into the nearest Post Office or drop off point on the following business day. You will not be charged any late fees.
Are there any late fees if I return my order late?
Yes. You must return your order by your return date (typically 7–14 days after delivery) using the prepaid return label provided. If your return is late, a fee of £15 per day applies. If your order is not returned within 7 days of your event, it will be treated as unreturned and you will be charged per item: Suit Jacket £150, Trousers £75, Shirt £40, Vest £50, Tie or Bowtie £25, Belt £25. To avoid any charges, we recommend returning your order on time using the prepaid label.
What happens if I lost or can't find my return label?
The return label is included inside the plastic sleeve and flyer included in your order. If you have lost or misplaced your return label, you can download another label from our returns portal. https://suitor.co.uk/request-return-label/

Sizing & Fit


How do I determine my sizes?
We can determine your sizes using just your height, weight and waist size (what you normally wear in jeans or shorts). Simply enter these into our sizing calculator and our algorithm will recommend the best fit for you. You can access it here: https://suitor.co.uk/sizing If you already own a suit, you can use those sizes as a guide. You can also get measured at a local tailor or dry cleaner for extra accuracy. For added peace of mind, you can include a Backup Suit with your order so you have two sizes to try at home. For more detailed guidance, please visit our sizing page.
How does the Backup Suit work?
If you're unsure about your size, you can add a Backup Suit to your order for just £10. We’ll send a second suit one size up, so you have two sizes to try at home. For example, if you select a 40 jacket and 34 trousers, your Backup Suit will include a 42 jacket and 36 trousers. The Backup Suit includes an additional jacket and trousers only. Shirts are sized proportionally to your selected jacket, but you can request a specific shirt size in the additional information box at checkout. Please note, the Backup Suit is intended for fit purposes only. One of the suits must be returned unworn. If both suits are worn, additional charges may apply.
What happens if my rental doesn’t fit?

What sizes do you stock?
We currently stock the following sizes across our suits and tuxedos: Jackets (Chest): XS/36 – 4XL/54 (even sizes) Trousers (Waist): 30 – 48 (even sizes) Shirts: XS – 5XL We offer short, regular and long trouser lengths, as well as regular and long jacket lengths for the best fit. We also have kids’ sizes from 0–16 (even sizes), which are not currently available in the UK.
Do you stock kids sizes?

Do you offer long length jackets?
We offer long-length jackets on all of our suit and tuxedo styles. If you are 188 cm or taller, your order will automatically be updated to include a long-length jacket. Simply enter your height at checkout and we’ll update the jacket length on your order. You can also request a long-length jacket by adding it to the order notes on the checkout page.
Do you offer different lengths of trousers?
We offer three trouser lengths across all of our suit and tuxedo styles: short, regular and long. Short-length trousers are available for customers who are 176 cm or shorter. For customers between 177 cm and 187 cm, we’ll provide regular-length trousers. If you are 188 cm or taller, we’ll provide long-length trousers. Simply enter your height at checkout and we’ll update your order to the right trouser length. If you would like to request a specific trouser length, please add this to the order notes on the checkout page.

Clearance


Are clearance suits for purchase, and are they in good condition?
Yes, all clearance suits and items are available for purchase, not hire. These suits have seen limited use within our collection and are professionally cleaned and quality-checked after every use. They’re only offered for clearance if they meet our standard of excellent, near-new condition and are ready to wear.
When should I expect my Clearance order to be delivered?
We aim to have your clearance order delivered within 1–2 business days from the time your order is placed.
What is your returns policy on Clearance orders?
If you’d like to return or exchange a clearance item, we’re here to help. Clearance orders must be returned within 3 business days of delivery. We offer returns during this period (less a £20 shipping and handling fee). You can return your item for store credit, exchange it for a different product, or request a refund to your original payment method. We also offer free sizing replacements if your item doesn’t fit. To access your return shipping label or request a sizing replacement, simply contact us via email or Live Chat and we’ll send it through to you.

Tailoring


Can I get my suit/tuxedo tailored?
Yes, minor alterations are allowed. You can adjust the jacket sleeve length and trouser length with a local tailor. Please ensure no fabric is cut or permanently removed, and that the overall fit or styling is not altered. If your suit doesn’t fit, you’re covered by our Perfect Fit Guarantee and can request a replacement size or alternative length via our order replacement form. Simply keep all items and return everything after your event.
Do you offer long length jackets?
We offer long-length jackets for most of our suits and tuxedos. If you are 188 cm or taller, we recommend selecting a long-length jacket for a better fit. You can choose your preferred jacket length directly when selecting your size on our website. Long-length jackets provide extra body and sleeve length and are available for most styles, subject to availability.
Do you offer different lengths of trousers?
Yes, we offer short, regular and long trouser lengths across our range. Short-length trousers are available for customers who are 179 cm or shorter. Regular length is available for all suit and tuxedo styles, and long-length trousers are recommended for customers 188 cm or taller. You can select your preferred trouser length when choosing your size on our website. If needed, trousers can also be hemmed locally for a more precise fit. All lengths are subject to availability.

Do you offer group discounts for a group or wedding party?

What do I do if I’m having a destination wedding?
If you’re attending a wedding overseas, we recommend selecting the 14-day rental option to allow extra time for delivery and returns. You can also explore our clearance range for a convenient alternative.

Suit Sale


When should I expect my Suit Sale order to be delivered?
We expect your Suit Sale order to be delivered within 2-5 business days of your order being placed. Please note that some orders may be dispatched from Australia, which can occasionally impact delivery times.
What is your returns policy on Suit Sale orders?
If you’re looking to return or exchange your purchase for any reason, we’re here to help. We offer free returns within 14 days of delivery. Please notify us and return your order within this period to be eligible for a refund. You can choose store credit, a different product, or a refund to your original payment method (minus a £20 fulfilment fee). We also offer free sizing replacements to ensure the perfect fit. To access your free return shipping label, simply contact us via email or live chat and we will send this through to you.

Ordering & Payment


When do you charge my credit card?
Your credit card is charged as soon as we receive your order.
Do I have to pay a surcharge for using my credit card?
No
When will I receive my refund if I cancel the order?
Once we have received your unworn order after you have notified us for a refund, we will confirm your refund and notify you within 3 working days. The refund process can take approximately 5 - 15 days depending on the process times of your own credit card provider. Suitor has no control over this, but we will notify once we have processed your refund.
How do I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Your eligibility for a refund or credit depends on how far in advance you cancel: 14+ days before delivery: You’ll receive a full refund to your original payment method. No cancellation fee applies. 8–13 days before delivery: Choose either a full refund minus a £5 cancellation fee, or a credit note for the full rental amount, valid for 12 months. 0–7 days before delivery: Choose either a full refund minus a £15 cancellation fee, or a credit note for the full rental amount, valid for 12 months. If your order has already been packed or dispatched: A store credit will be issued minus a £20 fulfilment cost. Please accept delivery of your order and return it using the prepaid label provided. Once returned unworn and in original condition, your store credit (valid for 12 months) will be issued and confirmed via email.
Do you accept international credit cards?
Yes, we do.
Is there a minimum order value for rental bookings?
Yes, there is a minimum order value of £50 for rental bookings. You can hire individual items such as shirts, waistcoats, belts, and ties, as long as your total order value is at least £50.
